Games Design Course

Diverse Associates Ltd aims to introduce computer games design as a careers option for all games enthusiasts and to engage young men in learning activities that could lead to future employment.

This short Taster session will teach:
• How to plan the structure and design of the game;
  the design of the process.
• Learn the rules of design and storytelling.
• Create characters and setting for the game.
• Understand the software technologies and how to
  manipulate these to create effects. 
• Learn how to work as part of a team.
• Communications and presentation skills.

The training will be part of a scheme to develop an ongoing training programme in Hackney that will teach more in-depth Games Design training for those who wish to pursue a future as a Games Designer. 

OCN Level 2 Face Painting for Beginners

Not only is this 3 day course practical and fun but it leads to a recognised qualification equivalent to GCSE grade C. This is a great way to spend three meaningful days of your summer holiday. During this 3 days course you will learn how to:

• Select the right paint and brushes
• Skin care tips
• Simple techniques for successful face painting
• Different ways to apply colourful faces
• And family special face painting effects
At the end of the course, as a bonus you will receive a free face painting kit including paints, brushes sponges and display photographs.

OCN Level 2 Balloon Modelling

How do they create that poodle, the hat and the pirate sword. Balloon art is a practical fun and skilled course for those who want to WOW children at parties or events. Balloon Modelling for beginners is a practical and exciting workshop open to all but primarily for those wanting to pursue a career as a Children Entertainer or Events Manager. This course is a must for those who are already face painters.

At the end of the course, as a bonus, you will receive a free balloon modelling set as well as your OCN Level 2 Accreditation (Grade C GCSE)
